Q: What do I wear for the treatment?
A: Depending on the treatment you have chosen, you may or may not need to undress. For a full body massage, you will undress except for your briefs. For a back massage, only the upper clothing needs to be removed. However, you may feel more comfortable wearing shorts to jeans or trousers. The choice is entirely yours. I will give you privacy to undress, and you will be covered with a towel or blanket at all times except for the area being worked on. For Indian Head massage, a towelling sarong/ wrap will be provided. For reflexology, you only need remove your socks and shoes.
Q: What do I do during a treatment?
A: Make yourself comfortable. If I need you to adjust your position, I will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed. Otherwise, change your position anytime to make yourself more comfortable. Many people close their eyes and relax completely during a session; others prefer to talk. It's up to you. It is your treatment, and whatever feels natural to you is the best way to relax. Do not hesitate to ask questions at any time.
Q: Must men have referral's?
A: All new male clients should be referred to me by an existing client, friend, family or Health Professional. If this is not possible, then please give me your postal address so that I can send you my consultation form for you to fill in. I follow strict professional and ethical standards and believe that genuine therapists, like myself, have the right to do their job in a safe environment.
Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A: 24-hour's notice would be appreciated. Otherwise, I may have to charge you for the treatment booked. Sometimes this cannot be helped - family emergencies, work, sickness, traffic etc, so please contact me as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment.
Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: I regret that I can accept only cash and cheques, the latter of which, for first-time client's, I would prefer to be accompanied by a valid cheque guarantee card.
Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?
A: Yes - these make great presents or allow you to purchase a course of treatments upfront. Please contact me for further details.
